About Us
Ewyas Harold Pre-school is a small, rural pre-school. We care for children from the age of 2 years until school age. There is a good child to staff ratio.
Since moving to the school site in 2009 we have benefited from close links with the school and liaise regularly with school staff. These links are invaluable when preparing children for the transition to primary school, which is often just a move to the room next door!
Ofsted inspected pre-school as good in October 2014 (Click here for report).

Early Education Places for 2 Year Olds
Is your child eligible?
From September 2013 Herefordshire has been allocated a number of free early education places for 2 year olds whose families claim one or more of a series of benefits.

Our aim
To provide a safe, secure and happy environment for all our children to play and learn together. We strive to create an atmosphere of kindness and respect for each other.
Our setting
We are located within the grounds of Ewyas Harold Primary School and enjoy a safe, secure environment. Access to pre-school is via the blue gate where an intercom system is in operation.
The internal space is colourful and comfortable providing: a reading corner, activity tables, a computer corner, a writing and drawing area, an interactive whiteboard and food preparation area.
Child friendly toilets and basins are accessible to the children at all times. We also have disabled access and toilet.
Our outdoor space is full of places to explore and play: pirate ship, playhouse, gazebo, sandpit, wooden train, raised strawberry beds. To maximise the outside space there is a covered play area, allowing children to get outside whatever the weather!
In addition we use the school playing field for events such as sports day and nature walks, dance workshops, etc.
